Artists and arts organizations based in the greater Gilroy area are invited to apply for SVCREATES' inaugural Gilroy Elevate the Arts Grant Program. These grants aim to elevate artists and the arts community in Gilroy by demonstrating the role arts can play in equitable community empowerment, activation and revitalization. Grants will fund publicly accessible arts projects in downtown Gilroy that engage the local community

Grants will be competitive and the requested grant range will be $5,000–$20,000. Approximately five to eight grants will be awarded. The application period opens on Friday, April 7 and will close on Friday, June 9. This program is made possible with support from the David & Lucile Packard Foundation and the County of Santa Clara.
