SVCREATES has an ongoing commitment to shift our programming and support to match the evolving needs of our arts community. From 1991 to 2017, the SVLaureate Program awarded over 150 artists in recognition of their creative talent and investment in the community. Starting in 2017, this program grew into the Content Emerging Artist Award, with a goal of supporting artists at key points in their career. Both of these programs have had the additional objective of supporting the local arts ecosystem through resources aimed at keeping individual artists in our community.
Now, we are looking to gather data about what the individual artist community has and needs now — to see if this program is still meeting our community’s needs. We invite you and every artist you know based in Santa Clara County to fill out this survey.
