Arts Town Hall & Community Conference
April 6

This event is designed for Santa Clara County based arts organizations and artists.

This will be an opportunity for our local arts community to come together to take stock, reflect on where we’ve been, and think about how we navigate the future. Who are we and what have we learned over the past two years? Hear from a panel of peers; network with colleagues, and explore new ideas for planning.

We welcome you to join us at 9 AM to enjoy coffee and tea. The program will begin at 9:30 am.

PROGRAM:

9 AM - Check-in; Coffee and conversation
9:30 AM - Opening with Tshaka Campbell, Santa Clara County Poet Laureate

10:30 AM - Transformational Planning: Budgeting for the Future We Want to Create
The last few years have dramatically exposed the many inequities and practices that are not serving our communities, our artists, and our organizations. How can we use financial planning to institutionalize our core values and commit more deeply to the societal transformation needed? Join us to explore ways local arts leaders are leaning into new and changing realities and add your voice to the vision for a stronger arts ecosystem. The workshop will include practical planning tools to take impactful ideas and turn them into actionable budgets.
