California Arts Council (CAC) recently approved its 2024 grant guidelines and grant programs to balance a challenging state budget with focused considerations for first-time applicants, small and mid-size arts organizations, and folk and traditional art forms. Grant opportunities for both general operating and project-based support will be offered. Applications are scheduled to open on March 28 and due in early June.

SVCREATES will host an online workshop on Wednesday, April 24 from 1:00pm - 2:30pm to review new CAC guidelines and application requirements. Registration is free to Santa Clara County based artists and arts groups, and offered to others at a modest fee.
