An Interview with Roy Hirabayashi

Vicky: Thanks for your time today, Roy. Can you give us a quick intro of yourself and how you're involved in the community arts scene?

Roy: My name is Roy Hirabayashi. I grew up in Oakland, but attended San José State University in 1969 and have been a resident of San José since then. All my life I've practiced music and the arts, but I got involved in the local scene here when I helped start San Jose Taiko in 1973.
