SVCREATES’ Arts Access Grants provide project support for programming specifically designed to engage underserved audiences. In alignment with the values of the County of Santa Clara, proposals must demonstrate authentic engagement with underserved audiences, compelling art programs, and a capacity to deliver on stated goals.

In 2024, we received 35 applications and were able to fund 15 projects representing a range of artistic disciplines and designed to serve a diversity of populations; projects include an annual Folkloreado community festival, documentary filmmaking institute for high school students, art education programs in theater and visual arts for students across the county, including for foster youth, arts experiences for Vietnamese and Mandarin-speaking seniors, and more.
