Silicon Valley’s cultural ecosystem is a vast, organic network of hundreds of small- to mid-sized multidisciplinary arts and cultural organizations and thousands of artists, creative entrepreneurs, volunteers, and individual participants. As civic and arts leaders and investors in the arts, it is important to understand our cultural ecosystem as context for developing strategies and prioritizing support.
SVCREATES commissioned a comprehensive ecosystem research project in 2020 and published The Business of Arts and Culture in 2021 with plans to repeat the study every five years. Read and download the report below or on Issuu here and its report resources here.
